I noticed this too. They've been doing this for a long time. I kept an eye on a gold 224 reissue several years ago and the price would go down to $2000 USD discounted . Then someone would buy it and a week later, it would be back on the site for $4000 which was the original price they listed it for (cycle repeat x3). The discounts start to happen after x number of weeks it's been on the site.
I also noticed that all the sites will take older products that are on the last pages and bring it up as "new arrival". This includes yoogis, fashiophile, instagram sellers etc.
I don't see it as anything bad though mainly because they probably bought it for much higher than their 30%discounted price and think they can get it for the original listed price if it's
seen as a "new arrival". I've seen bags on the website for a long time that are hidden way deep into the pages that get snatched up quickly when it's brought up.
