Alright everyone...it just ended seconds ago...thoughts on the new runway show?
Mine are....meh. Lol, I've never been a big fan of most of the things Ghesquière produces. A couple of the epi pieces looked promising, otherwise it was a show full of very impractical looking bags.

The most interesting thing I saw was the half hard half soft petite malle (at least what it looked like in the one second I saw them lol.) I thought some of the RTW was pretty but nothing eye popping for me.

There were quite a few Alma‘s (which I liked) and lots of Side Trunk‘s, also a kind of flat (?) Side Trunk ….
Colorwise I really liked the light „beige/rose“ monogram

The fashion itself was actually decent and wearable this go around but so much fur.

The bags themselves, sooooooo many trunks, lol.
Now we have a Side Trunk East West, Side trunk pochette on chain, a flattened supple trunk, another s-lock larger petite malle variation with a zipper (this is seems cool) . I kinda like that's its homage to the origins of the house and it's fitting for the season, but wish there were more soft/femme options.

And then the reissuing of bags. The epi octagon vanity/beauty box. A more boxy epi jasmine. The monogram lockit BB. I think I even saw a cabal mezzo remake (I know the fans are going to go crazy over this). Also looks like they redid the city steamer, elongating and softening it.

It just doesn't give 100% fresh. There were probably 3-5 from the ground up new designs (although impractical, but not as nearly as impractical as the square bag they've been forcing on us, I like the oblong Cannes iteration). I understand recognizing roots but rehashing and doing slight changes to what's already offered isn't giving what needs to be gave. Seems like more thought is put into all these in between seasonal collections we get; makes me wonder if that's where the real money is made vs runway.

Not the most riveting show I've seen from LV, but I was enthralled by the fabrics and the cuts of the RTW.

I also couldn't help but love this little Lockit (photo from PurseBlog):
