Info removed by JetSetGo!: we don't offer details on how to determine fakes on tPF, so we do not teach the counterfeiters how to do a better job.

And even on this one the color looks off, the metal that adjusts the strap look the wrong color too.

I reported the listing, but looks like it was too late. I wish there was some way to contact the buyer. :(

Post links to counterfeit MGs you find on eBay or the like so we can report them and keep them out of circulation.

Please do not post links to site that specialize in counterfeit items as we do not want to drive traffic to them.

If you are UNSURE of authenticity, do not post here. Use our Authentication thread first.

I've already reported this closed listing from the AT thread.
Join me and let's get this listing removed so whoever bought it doesn't get scammed.
eBay is not as responsive as it once was to pulling reported listings.

Some of these pics in this listing are of a real bag, while some are of a fake.
Clearly this seller ( elena1972us ) knows she is scamming buyers.

I just found this offer here on Ebay Germany.

It is clearly said on the description that this is a fake bag but I am irritated because it is the first fake which I wouldn't have indentified being not original at first sight - although the orange looked a bit odd.

Maybe it is interesting for other to see.

And the actual worst is that somebody paid 300 Euro for it although he knew it was fake. It slowly starts getting weird this Mansur Gavriel Hype. :thinkin:

Thank you for posting this. How awful that someone actually paid all that money for an imitation bag. We have to be very careful about having these authenticated before purchasing!
