Fake Chanels

I have a question. I have heard more than a few times that any Chanel bag that comes with a "dogtag" is a fake. If this is true, why do they insist on putting it on so many? Did they ever make these? I'm just curous because I find this very strange! Any thoughts?

Fake LVs have those weird hangtags too. I never understood why they fake sellers would keep them on. I have seen bags that look pretty good at first glance but because of those hangtags you know right away. I guess those sellers are pretty stupid.
