Face primer drying my skin

I bought the Olay/Covergirl face primer and really like it! Put it on in the AM, followed by full face of makeup and it did not dry out, crease, and kept my makeup on all day even after my workout. So far after a week I really like it!

Since my skin gets dry during the winter, I have used smashbox hydrating primer with great success.

I have combination skin and I find that the Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer SPF 15 is the best I've tried. I love the COVER FX Mattifying Primer with Anti-Acne Treatment because I do notice that it does actually help keep my skin pretty clear, BUT it really isn't good at helping with the shine and oiliness.

I have combo skin, for over a year I have been using Laura Mercier oil free primer and the mineral foundation primer with good results.

I gave up on primer for my dry skin. Then I tried Murad Skin Perfecting Primer in dewy finish. Game changer. I even wear it on no makeup days alone.

Also can you guys suggest a BB that doesn't dry the skin?

I like the Dior nude one. It is the best.

I have combination skin too and really like the Benefit Porefessional Primer. Doesn't make my skin dry at all. I also just got the two Hourglass primers but haven't had a chance to try them yet (am super excited to though!)
