Eye Brush to help me get that sultry "V" Shape?

The Lancome brush #16 is not angled, it is domed, with a point, so it makes drawing the V easier. I like it very much. I also have the slanted brush, but it is good for eyeliner and eyebrows only.

Here's something that's been helping me...

I got a few of the darker colored bobbi brown (you could probably use any brand) cream eye shadows along with the bb brush that goes with it. I use the cream shadow as a base that I paint on my eye in the "v" shape I'm trying to obtain (smudging/blending upwards towards the brow so there are no harsh lines). This seems to give me more control when making that initial shape. I then go over it with powder shadows/eye liner, to finish the look.

It seems that if I a darker cream shadow as a base I get the intensity I was missing without them, as well as the control that powder wasn't giving me.
