Extra glazing, peeling of canvas, or is this normal?

I recently purchased an agenda from a Louis Vuitton Boutique, and I noticed white stuff on the edges after I got home. One of the pictures isn't mine, but that's the same white stuff I had on my agenda. The white stuff was a bit sticky when I picked at it, and looked like dried glue. Is it extra glazing, canvas peeling, or something else? After picking at my agenda, my agenda now looks like that on the right. I am just concerned if it was defective or that I peeled of the coating on the canvas. Should I bring it back? Thanks!Screen Shot 2018-01-17 at 7.46.19 PM.png IMG_0308.JPG

You’re exactly correct. It’s just glue/glazing residue. It’s fine, you didn’t damage it by picking it off that’s what they actually do in the store if they notice it.

I noticed this on my new six key holder. I asked my SA about it when I was in the store picking up an order and she said it’s a little reside. I used a damp microfiber cloth when I got home and it all came right off.
