Hi all! :P
For those who had experience extending a Vintage Alhambra single pendant necklace, do they add links to both sides of the chain so it is balanced and the clasp sits at the center of the nape of your neck? I have only extended a Sweet Alhambra and extending it doesn't really effect how the pendant sits because the clover can move around on the chain, however the Vintage Alhambra pendant stays in one place. My mother is trying to decide if she wants to extend hers but is worried that after extending the necklace, one side of the chain will be longer than the other. She prefers how it is now where the clasp sits at the center of the nape of her neck. TIA!

I received mine a few days ago and the chain is very short - does anyone actually wear this necklace at this length or do most people get it lengthened? I'm thinking if it is too short for most people, surely VCA would lengthen the standard chain. I tried on the Sweet Alhambra before and that was extremely short. I have a thin neck too, so I imagine anyone who is slightly larger-necked would have to get it extended for it to even be comfortable or wearable

I compared the Sweet with the Vintage Alhambra before extending it and it was a lot shorter. Even after extending it two inches, it is only about half an inch longer than a non-extended Vintage Alhambra chain. I assume it is because the Sweet line is supposedly meant for children.

I guess it is personal preference, my mother has a thin neck and for her the Vintage sits about 1.5inches below her clavicle and I think it looks really nice like that, but she prefers it to be a bit longer so its not too flashy. Some of my friends also have thin necks and prefer the standard length. I think it looks really nice, but I also would prefer it to be longer on myself as well. It does suck for those with thicker necks though cause the max is 2" for free, and anything longer they would have to pay additional for it.

If your mother wore the shortest setting with a T-shirt round neck would the clover get tuck under the t-shirt shirt or stay on top of t-shirt?
Thanks :flowers:

Ohhh I didn't even realize VCA still extends the length of their necklaces?

For some reason I thought they had stopped doing this a couple years back?

And they still do the extender pieces too?

The ones you can attach/add to your VCA necklaces to make them longer if needed too?
I'm not sure if they still do those, I didn't ask but my SA mentioned the extender pieces would be a great option to get on my own from a jeweler if I didn't want to extend my necklace permanently. From that I assume they no longer offer it. I'm also located in NYC so maybe other stores have it?

Thank you...I'll check and see on my end too ❤️
