I purchased a new Marmont small matelasse flap bag last night and upon closer inspection at home, there were creasing and 2 specks of glue. I’m going back today to get an exchange, however I took the stuffing out AND the wrapping from the straps. Will they still grant me the exchange?

Also, do I have to put it in the box as well?

Creasing is bound to happen with the marmont. It’s just the type of leather. In regards to the exchange, yes it shouldn’t be a problem! I’d just put the stuffing back in and place back in box to be safe.

Yes there shouldn’t be a problem considering it was recently purchased.

Please let us know the outcome.

UPDATE: I was able to exchange it. The sales associate who helped me was very nice despite not getting a commission (because it was an exchange). The manager (?), on the other hand, seemed so annoyed when she inspected my item and had to explain to me that all Marmont bags are like that because they're delicate. No ****, honey. I wanna be the one to crease my bag over time. However, I was so tired that I just said ok. Then they still gave me a new bag that looked good as new.
