Exchange Bag after Price Increase

I purchased a the classic flap from the Chanel Boutique inside Neiman Marcus just a few days before the store closed due to the pandemic. Meanwhile there was a price increase and the stores just opened a week ago. There is a defect in my bag. Will I be able to exchange the bag? Will I have to pay the price difference since the price of the bag went up?

I went to the store to exchange, but they didn’t have any in stock. They sold out before the price increase. I can just get a refund. I asked my SA to let me know if a bag comes so I can exchange, but I don’t think she will do that.

If she is any good she will. Mine did for me although I have to say say I was surprised and impressed. I thought, like you, she wouldn’t.

That’s nice to hear! It the first time I purchased from her so I’m not sure how she is. Plus I usually purchase from the boutique so I don’t have a Chanel history with Neiman Marcus.
