I really like Giada, too. She's such a cutie, and seems like a nice person from seeing her on other shows. I always laugh because she cooks while wearing all those super cute tops! She's adorable.

Was on an earlier Sex and the CIty episode too. He was on "Are we Freaks?" as the guy who stuffs books down his pants to steal them for no reason. Just a fun note: If you have seen Marc Dicarlo on "Taste of America", another great cooking show, he was on SATC. He was the guy who wanted Samantha to pull his hair! Not that I am a SATC junkie or anything!LOL!
Speaking of SATC, that Berkin bag that Sam buys for Lucy Loo is terrific! But huge!

I love these two shows along with Nigella Lawson. I watch all three on Sunday morning. B Contessa products are great -- available at www.givinggallery.com -- I have tried the cupcakes and cookies. I also have lots of utensils by Nigella Lawson -- available at www.givinggallery.com also.

I love watching these shows and tivo them daily and Nigella as well! But now that I'm pregnant, I really can't watch them unless I'm not hungry!

I really like these two shows! The ambiance of the setting on both shows are so relaxing and comforting. I use to watch it in the evenings; I kick back, lie on my couch and fall asleep b/c their voices are so calming.

Are they still running on Food Network? I never see it on anymore... the new shows are mostly on.

They do have reruns on of both shows that usually runs mid afternoon during the week. I think it's a combo of their voices plus the music that makes it so appealing.

My brother says that Giada's show is like Food Porn~LOL!

Yes, giada is on daily at 4:30 and Barefoot contessa is on at 5. I LOVE giada and I just bought her cookbook and the recipes are so inspiring. I'm not a big fan of Barefoot Contessa because she makes a lot of meat and I don't eat it.

Note to USCgirl from earlier in the thread... Giada just had a baby, I think! Perhaps she'll put out some baby stuff soon. Wouldn't that be awesome?

I'm not a big fan of hers because of the name. "Barefoot" just throws me offush:. I think of big sweaty bare feet in the kitchen...
