Everyday Designer Necklace

My daughter turned one a couple of weeks ago and I still haven’t decided on a push present lol. I was planning on getting the VCA Alhambra necklace but now I feel like it has become too common. I want an everyday designer necklace. I didn’t love the Trinity necklace from Cartier. What do you have and love? I am in my 30’s and looking for something classic.

Love Pomellato. They make gorgeous chains - this open link chain is my favorite piece of jewelry. Both ends look like links but can suspend a pendant or can become a lariat style. The Iconica chain is probably my next piece.

I agree with @A bottle of Red on the diamond solitaire.

Mine is Tiffany DBTY, it is one of 24/7 piece. I never take it off (except when getting a facial).
I wear it when I sleep, shower, workout, etc. It is comfortable, lightweight and I barely notice it.

If you are interested in Tiffany DBTY, my only note is that the chain is very fine. I've had no breakage or tangling issues but I would refrain from tugging/pulling.

In 2023, Alhambra was the most searched designer jewelry, and I see it a lot in my daily life. Anyway, for designer jewelry, I think the diamond by the yard is a good option if you want simple — as mentioned above by another commenter.

Since you mentioned Alhambra and trinity, I think you’d like the Schlumberger Lynn pendant, which has a vintage feel to it.

I also quite like the diva pendant from Bulgari. The silhouette is different than Alhambra, but it features stone work in fanciful shapes.

I probably would stick to an established jewelry house instead of a fashion brand’s collection. But it’s your money, so spend it on what you like.

I was in the same situation as you - wanted an everyday designer necklace, but feel like I see VCA alhambra EVERYWHERE and wanted something more unique. I ended up getting two necklaces, pictured below. Top one is Dior Rose Des Vents, which has the same stone element as the VCA but is in my opinion so much more special - the gold and diamond elements shine beautifully, and you can get mother of pearl like I have or other stones. Below is the Cartier love necklace. I actually never take this necklace off as it’s solid gold and has a very sturdy chain (something you might appreciate with a little one!) I wear these separately or together and love them both equally.

These are my current go to everyday necklaces. I don’t really wear any other jewelry besides necklaces. Bulgari Diva’s dream is more exclusive along with Tiffany’s Color by the Yard in my opinion.
