Every day bag: Speedy B 25 DE versus Prada backpack or satchel (nylon)

Looking for an every day low maintenance bag that is still premium and makes me feel a bit 'special'!
Have a toddler and another on the way, so needs to be low maintenance and hands free (I'd be using this for my things with a separate kiddie bag) - so would be for my essentials rather than the kitchen sink, though would be nice to be able to fit in a few things

Can't decide between
- Prada nylon back pack
- Speedy B DE

Which is more useful and stylish??
I can't carry off the monogram print so would be in DE, thanks in advance!

I don't have any kids, but I have a Prada nylon cross body bag and they nylon strap is so annoying to me. It slides everywhere and I can imagine as a backpack it would keep sliding off of your shoulders.

Go for the Speedy. It's a classic bag and for a good reason. Now that it comes with the strap, it's very user-friendly. too. It can be dressed down or dressed up.

The Prada nylon backpack is much more casual. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a good bag and a classic, but it's something that personally, I would only wear with a very casual outfit. I can't think of a single way to dress it up. So it's a lot less versatile than the Speedy B.

Fellow toddler mom here! You’ll love the Speedy. My DE LV bags are my favorites in this phase of motherhood. I have a Tumi nylon backpack (different from the Prada you mentioned, but a similar vibe) and much prefer the LVs due to the ease of wiping them clean (without fabric absorbing spilled liquids) and their ability to be dressed up or down. Plus, DE always looks chic and truly goes with everything!

I have Speedy B 30 in DE and I love it! You can dress it up or down. I don't think I could pull off wearing a dress with Prada back pack. As for having kids, I practically raised my kids with Neverfull - monogram with my first born, and DE with my second. Even with having a separate diaper bag, I feel like the Neverfull is convenient not having to open and close zipper.
