I have a stainless steel burberry watch that I wear daily. It's style number is BU4725. This is what it looks like:

I love it. The crystal isn't flat but actually like a three step, \_/ like that but inverted.
I bought mine at a fossil outlet a in June and no problems!

I wore a swatch for almost 8yrs , very reliable, its still running but I got bored of it

I personally prefer a pure watch making brand for daily wear,
I was looking for a affordable, reliable watch a couple of months ago and narrowed it down to Swiss army, Tissot ( both swiss made), citizen, bulova and movado ( a little more expensive)
Finally got a Tissot

Hi Shopaholic!

I'm a guy and I've always bought Burberry/Armani watches since I was 16. I think they're really stylish and classic, the Burberry is Swiss made, and they've run reliably for about three years now. I actually bought a newer style last spring.

I don't know why, but everybody, even when I go to Tiffany's or Cartier, thinks my Burberry watches are quite expensive and when I let them know the truth that it's "just Burberry" they say "still, it's a nice brand."

I always wanted a Ballon Bleu de Cartier or perhaps a nice watch from Patek Phillipe or Vacheron Constantin, or a Tiffany Mark. But honestly, I'm content with my cheaper watch. Don't pay more for another brand unless its mechanical. Why pay 5 times more for a printed name if they're both quartz movement and Swiss?

I think a steel band will get you farther but I find leather bands classier, and if you see a Calvin Klein you really like the design of then by all means pick it up. My favorite is Burberry though: it's stylish, it's functional, it's Swiss, and it's not so expensive that you'll cry every time you knick it. It is on you wrist after all.

Hope this little rant helps!

Hi all,

I have a few threads open at the moment about watches, as I don't want to jump in and buy a watch and later regret it.

I did have a Armani watch, which I really loved and only sold it because I bought a new watch costing £300 and needed to put the extra money towards it so Armani went. To cut a long tale short, I no longer have the £300 watch because it was huge on my wrist.

I don't why its so hard for me to find a watch I love. I could never afford to buy a Cartier or Tiffany and I'm not too keen on Rolex anyway.

I like Citizen, Tissot and Burberry watches.

I'm off to have another look at Burberry.

Which one of these do you prefer?

I like that rectangular one best for several reasons: the first watch looks large, the second watch's strap will dirty and so will the burberry. The rectangular one is classy and timeless. Can't got wrong
