I am considering an Evelyne TPM but I can’t decide if it would look silly on a plus size person? Does anyone plus size have one and love it?

I just got a 29 and love it, but want to add something smaller. I’m 5’9” and a size 22!

I just got one. I was surprised by how much length it had when worn crossbody on my well padded figure. I went for a black one, so it's a little quieter than a bright colour. It took me years of hemming and hawing over it. Like you, I went with the 29 first. On me, the 29 is a little too big and after using it for a couple of years, I was ready to take a look at the mini. It looked so cute on! I was afraid it was going to sit too high up but, it was ok. The proportion was good too. It's a mini; we're all more accustomed to this look over the past few years. I think it's worth a look.

Thank you so much for your response! That makes me feel way more confident to get one! There is nothing worse that a too short crossbody bag

Interesting. I just got mine last week.

Another thought about the length of the strap, the strap is removable and you can replace it with whatever you like. It could be something else from Hermes or something from the many other vendors out there. I wanted a soft strap to replace a leather one on a non-H bag and found something nice on Etsy.

I think there are two versions of strap length. I was just offered a tpm and my choices included a normal strap version and a short strap version.

Buy what you love and will use. I am sure it will look great on you!

I subscribe to the buy and wear what appeals to YOU approach that many on here have suggested.

If you still feel unsure, from a size/proportion point if view,
make a cardboard mock-up or
source a really inexpensive (cheap 'is such an unmusical word')
but similar bag and guage how it feels. Time or money well spent.
