I'm wanting to get an eternity band with larger diamonds. I was wondering if anyone has an idea of what something like this might cost. I just want to make sure that when I am looking with jewelers that I wont be getting ripped off since I don't really have any idea of what a fair price for this is.

I am a size 4. I would want an eternity band with .20 carat diamonds, of probably G color, SI1 clarity. For the setting I want 18k white gold shared prong, u shaped, to let in more light and obviously I would want all the diamonds to match properly in size and color and no visible inclusions. Also I live in LA, if anyone recommends any specific jewelers for this in downtown please let me know!

thanks.

I paid 2800 € recently for 7x 0,20ct g-vs diamonds and 5,5gr 18ct gold ring (in Antwerp, Belgium), I could have negotiated if down to 2500-2600 in hindsight

I've had great experiences with Facets. I've bought multiple rings from them. The size 4 ring would actually be under 10K and 15 stones. They're 19.xx pointers.

You can also call IDJewelry and give them an idea of what you want (say Pricescope quality stones) and they will give you an estimate. There are tons of people who love their bands from them.

David Klass is in LA, I don't know what he'd charge.

Okay great, thank you! Who is David Klass is he a popular well known jeweler? I haven't heard of him, just wanted to see who he is/how people know of him!

Thank you!

He's well respected, and very good. There's lots of talk of his work on Pricescope, as well.

Just to make sure it's clear: just because a jeweler is popular doesn't mean they are good. Many of the best are not widely discussed.

okay thank you! yeah my only real concern is if he is very good!

I actually tried on a beautiful eternity band 20 points at IDjewlery maybe like 6-7 months ago. It was $4k.
What does it mean to them if you say Pricescope quality stones? Then they have an idea of what you're looking for?

That usually tells them that you want the best cut quality melee available. PS people are sticklers for cut and the average shopper doesn't pay attention to such things.
