^ _bella_ I love the French impressionists, too!

Can I just say "everything?" LOL
There's no way I could list everything I love about France, but here's a few...
Hermes of course!
Louis Vuitton
Repetto shoes
Le Bon Marche
Chanel
Bourjois
Paris- just walking around it, such a beautiful city
Fresh baguette from the boulangerie
Kir
French food- onion soupe, quiche, croissants, pain au chocolate, macarrons, crepes, cheese, the list goes on...
french-ruled notebook paper (odd, I know)
open-air marches in Paris (the fruit there is so much more flavorful than in the US)
French wine
The wealth of museums and historical sites in Paris- it never ceases to amaze me
OK must stop now, I'm making myself nostalgic for Paris!

my husband and I shared this bottle ('82 vintage) a few weeks ago to celebrate our 10th anniversary (sitting in the wine cellar, lit by candles).

Only the french can make a wine like this, IMO it's the equivalent to Hermès as far as wine goes...

France will always have a special place in my heart thanks to the road trip I took with a girlfriend some years back  Thankfully she spoke French (I couldn't). The driving was pretty challenging  but we survived anyway!

Well in no particular order, I love..
Sitting outside a cafe when it's quiet, ordering 'un petit noir'.

Mount Saint Michel. It is unbelievable in real life. Breathtaking!!

Le Louvre, anytime, but expecially since I found the back ticket entrance.

Monet's Gardens at Giverny. Watching the light change on the water where Monet painted the waterlilies.

Tasting wine in a real wine cave!

Picking up Fantastic Cheese/Bread/Wine/Chocolate on the run anywhere.

Getting professional/fantastic service after saying the 'magic word'....... Bonjour
