Anyone have any luck--either in their geographical areas or online? My sister got an eternity anniversary band this spring for $900 hammer price (25% auctioneer fee and sales tax on top of that) that appraised for just over $5K. 23 5-pt diamonds (sz 6.5). She did pay for the appraisal and also paid $60 to get the prongs fixed--every single diamond was loose! The appraisal was $75. Just interested in others' experiences...
