Lovely color and rich leather! Idk about this tote, but hope your mom will love it too.
I bought my Mom the boutique satchel version and she loves it! I'm pretty sure this is the outlet version. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. This is a hardy bag and the pockets in the front are great. Love the color! I'm sure your Mom will love it. [emoji3]
Is it the metal plate that makes you think this is the outlet version? I was wondering about that too. I don't know if I want to keep it for $198 if it's the outlet version.
Yes the metal plate signifies outlet. The boutique version would have MICHAEL KORS written out in gold letters. For the outlet bags sometimes they do still go up to $350. Like boutique bags they also go on sale. We all have our preferences and sometimes prefer outlet styles for the soft leather in some styles (like the Hamilton). There is a soft leather essex that I've seen in pearl grey and also a black one that is boutique, which you could also get on sale. But if you think your mom would like the color of this one in this style I would keep it as I don't believe the boutique version came in this color.
