Envelope clutch creases?

Hi everyone I have recently purchased a beautiful black envelope clutch but I realise inside the area where it folds, the creases seem rather deep? I've attached a picture below so could fellow envelope clutch owners tell me if this is normal or not? Thanks in advance!

Anything that folds will have creases. Different piece of leather respond differently. It's normal.

Thanks for your reply! I wonder if the creases will eventually cause the leather to crack?

Looks like creases to me. IMO it will only crack if it really dry. Try using some leather care on it,to be safe.

Thanks for your reply! I have been diligently conditioning it since it arrived so hopefully it will soften up
