Enamel lifting up on Clic Clac? Help!

Hi Everyone!

I just purchased an H Clic Clac from the Las Vegas store while visiting over the long weekend, and, to my dismay, after wearing it for only two days the enamel in one of the top corners started to lift up! Not tons, but enough to be noticeable when viewed from the side, and enough to drive my OCD nuts. I wish I would have taken pictures to show you all before sending it back to the store for an evaluation to see how we will proceed (exchange, repair, etc.), but I wanted to get it shipped out asap. Has anyone else experienced or heard of anything like this?

To me, the only satisfactory solution would be to have the item exchanged immediately. I can understand having to send it for repair if I had owned it for months, or even weeks, and something like this happened, but not after TWO days. I spoke with the Las Vegas store over the phone (Eric, their repairs specialist) to let them know to expect the item back, but he couldn't promise any particular course of action without actually seeing the item. I completely understand that. Now I'm just waiting on pins and needles to see what he says once the item arrives. Anyone have any experience dealing with a similar situation?

Thank you all so much for taking them time to read this and contribute any thoughts!

I just sent my clic clac for repair too, one of the screw came out and it scratched my arm. I was told by my SA that they have to ship it to Paris for repair and to expect it back within 3 months!!! and if they are unable to fix it, they will give me a replacement or store credit. however mine is not new, I bought it last october.

I do hope you get a new replacement ASAP considering you just bought the item two days ago. Good luck, and keep us updated.

Don't let my experience deter you! I truly believe that this was just a freak defect in my one bracelet and maintain my full confidence in Hermes and their quality. I will absolutely purchase more of these (as well as other H products) in the future. My only hope is that the situation is properly dealt with in a satisfactory manner (i.e. an exchange). Teepotz' experience with the loose screw is something that could happen with any piece of jewelry with moving parts. Like I said before, if more time had past between the purchase and needed repair, I would have very different feelings about the situation.
