Enamel care

I have some enamel pieces but I'm afraid they will lose there color over time.

How do you take care of your enamel pieces?

Does enamel always discolor over time? Or only if you not have taking care of it?

I sleep and shower with my enamel pieces. Should I stop that? Do you sleep and shower with your enamel jewelry?

Definitely don't shower in it.. I remember hearing enamel is porous and can discolour when exposed to water! This also goes for cleaning it as well-- don't use the toothpaste "trick" or dunk it in the solution. If you can't make it to Tiffany, any jeweler should be able to clean it for you.

If you wear perfume, put the perfume on, let it dry, then put on your enamel pieces. Think of enamel like a diva. It's upkeep, but there's no reason it shouldn't last you years.

Oh, and yes, I've slept in mine with no problems!
