Empreinte Cream bag leather flaking?

I’ve only had one other light colored Empreinte bag and it was the Papyrus and I had to return it because the leather was flaking. QC seemed it defective.

It seems like this bag is starting to do the same. If I rub the leather before it meets the glazing the cream leather starts coming off and shows black flakes. Is this a glazing issue or a leather issue? Or is it no big deal? The store is a 45min drive so I only want to go in if absolutely necessary.

Looks like a slight glazing issue, not the leather...almost like the glaze isn’t thick enough on that edge. It’s so minimal. I personally would leave it.
