YES! Lily's no Shalom Harlow but she was alright!
I'm really curious to see who will catch all the nuances ... it's like a treasure hunt.
I love the series! It was a welcoming distraction from 2020. Her outfits are really out there, but they are fun looks.
I'm only two episodes in but honestly the fashion is boring me. Does it get better? She was carrying that Cult Gaia tassel bag that was happening two years ago....yawn.
Emily’s fashion is ok, her co-stars outfits are much more me! What I wouldn’t give for Sylvies closet - timeless!
Got through one episode. I wanted to love it for the fashion and the scenery, but the stereotypes of both Americans and the French was too much. And the not really comedy was too broad, like the dildo blowing the power in the whole building.
I really wanted this show to be good but....yup. It's pretty crude humor and it's twenty years plus after SATC.
Sylvie has great style! The shows sans Emily could be fun.
I said in the Netflix thread..it's like it's trying to be The Devil Wears Prada/ SATC and Gossip Girl all at once.

It was all too much. SJP in Sec and the City had enough chutzpah to wear those outfits...Lily as Emily doesn’t. It is like how many cutesy designer pieces can we pile on this tiny girl at the same time? I know Patricia Field did it...but it did not work.
Like, I started off watching it to hate-watch it (and then continued to hate-watch it...) and then after five hours, I was done the whole season.
