Embossing on the box?

I just got my first Cartier piece — a small JUC in WG. The SA was lovely and offered to emboss my initials on the box for me!

Just wondering if this is normal? I’ve never seen it before and I felt like she really went above and beyond for me as I was celebrating a special occasion.

I did notice I didn’t get a travel pouch — is this something you can request? I’ve seen differing opinions.

Either way I adore my new ring!

Sometimes you'll get the full works and sometimes (esp if you're SAs not in) you just get what you bought. I'm sure if you ask, they'll give you one. They are quite handy for traveling.

I haven't seen the embossing, that's pretty neat!
I didn't really get anything with my Love, just a travel pouch, I'd have liked a cleaning kit.

It also depends on what the store has in stock. I've heard that the cleaning kits run out pretty fast.

When I got my love bracelet, I got the little additions: pouch with a little cushion to hold the bracelet and cleaning kit.

I wasn't offered engraving, but that's probably because I bought it for myself lol.

And I wasn't given the gift wrapping probably because I wanted to wear it out right then and there.

I was offered embossing on my Love bracelet box so got my husband and my initials on it. It’s very sweet.
Also got a travel pouch and they ran out of cleaning kits so she mailed one out to me. Nice service but it varies a lot. When I purchased my love ring, I didn’t get anything with it.

Just an update on this — I actually ended up exchanging the size of my ring and asked for a travel pouch. The SA that helped me advised they’d normally have included one but current world events have meant they didn’t have any in stock. She said next time I visit I can ask and they’ll be happy to supply one.
