Elsa Peretti Zodiac pendants - discontinued line

Today I found a pretty Elsa Peretti silver chain and pendant from her discontinued astrological sign line. The pendant looks like this: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?sku=18307359

but it is on a chain (also marked Peretti) that is several inches longer than the advertised 16-inch one. Does anybody have other pendants from this line? I would like to learn more about its history and there is not much on the Tiffany website other than photos of the discontinued pendants. They look like precursors to the Bean or variations on it.

According to a 2000 T&CO catalog this necklace also was available on a 28" sterling chain.


I have this style (Libra) and the chain is quite long.

Tiffany also extends chains. It is possible the previous owner paid to have it extended.

I have the Elsa Peretti Madonna pendant that looks like it could come from this series. It was a nice confirmation present. I don't go to church anymore but I still wear the necklace since its so discrete.
