I got an e mail about this collection today and wondered if any of you Tiffany ladies had seen it. I am drawn to the beach shell pendant but wouldn't want it to be the same size as my bean. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1370463033.628474.jpg

I really don't like it that they come on a 16" chain :nogood: Is it because they're really small?
(Just saw that all pieces -except for the green pendant- disappeared from the belgian site, weird!)

I noticed this collection a week or two ago. They just showed up on their site under "new jewelry" and was wondering when it would get some press. I haven't seen any of these pieces in person (don't live near a store) but like that silver shell a lot.

I've seen the green pendant and the YG.....I wasn't loving it TBH... it just feels like a modern version of the bean?

I knew you would have already seen it! What's funny is that I like it BECAUSE it looks a little like the bean. I have a SS bean but always wish I'd gotten a YG version instead. If I got this I wouldn't feel as bad as I would if I had YG and SS versions of the same necklace. I want to get an idea of size and weight though. The price point makes me think it is fairly small and probably hollow.

hmmm I don't know if it's hollow because I didn't ask to see it. but judging from tiffany's other pieces I doubt it's hollow but it is small, probably the size of a dime maybe a tiny bit bigger?

That might be the right size for me. I guess I need to go take a look at it! I thought I remembered reading that some of her YG beads were hollow but still had okay weight so I just assumed they would do it as a cost-cutting measure. I've been good lately. Haven't bought a single piece of jewelry since February.

then I guess you're do for a treat :graucho:

I just saw 3 silver shell necklaces in person from this collection. There was a teeny one about size of mini bean and hollow. There was the medium size called sand dollar which is elongated. But the biggest one was my favorite. Cost is $400 and it is silver and has a nice prescence and weight to it. Not on Tiffany site so don't know where to find photo. Really like large one!

hollow? :hrmm: I don't mind when jewelry is light because it is small or meant to be a delicate piece... but when something is larger, I always expect it to have some weight.

The larger one is not hollow and definitely has weight to it. It costs $400 but it is not the open shell that is $425 on site. I really like it and might buy it midweek! I don't think the middle sand shell is hollow either. Just the tiny one is not really solid. It is like a shell from the beach so you only get the top layer.
