Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry was legendary. It seems fitting that she'd have a soft spot for the Mini Lady Dior's. She had quite a collection; several with the Swarovski crystals and lucite handles. Here are the closing bids from the December 2011 Christie's auction. The provenance sent the bids into the stratosphere!!

My favorite is the the black satin with the crystals and lucite handles.

That little pink one is adorable, but I'm a little bummed there aren't more from the 50s or 60s.

wow! if only handbags from plain janes could fetch those amounts. the malice demi lunes and structured totes sell for under $200 but of course, owning an item from the great Elizabeth Taylor is a treasure.

I know I've seen the pink one on ebay before, but I wasn't sure if it was authentic or not and didn't bid! I wasn't too sure about it so didn't have it authenticated, but imagine owning a small Lady Dior similar to the one Elizabeth Taylor had if it was authentic!
