Sure I will get corrected if I'm wrong:
Hobo is like the one in this pick in oak- just has one strap on the top
The EW has two straps, a long and a shorter one and I think the bag isn't as deep either
Are you talking about the revised Effie which has a Hobo and a Tote? (also small and regular Satchel)

I have the satchel in Apricot, it's a gorgeous bag
I have seen the Effie East west hobo on Kafka website. It is a really good price but the measurements are the same as the normal hobo. Plus it doesn't mention a second strap. Just a bit confused.
I see what you mean, perhaps call them to clarify.
Are they a legitimate site and have you had any buying experiences with them previously?
I have dealt with then before. They are authorised Mulberry suppliers. I emailed mulberry customer services and they confirmed it.
How did you get on....are we expecting a reveal? Seems to have been a reveal famine of late
