I've been lurking for awhile and wanted to put a question out there.

I've bought my fiancee two Love Bracelets about a year apart, from the same vendor who I discovered on ebay. He has a website too.

The first was a white gold and the second yellow gold.

They both look and feel great. But...I decided to give them hard looks through a high powered loop and found things that are making me wonder.

Can anyone share about their certificates (who is certain their's are legitimate) and tell me if the card are embossed or not?

Perhaps some are and some are not?

The other LB is white gold and upon magnification in the part that goes under the screw (looks like a fork end), the metal looks sort of 'frosted'. In fact, when I look at the all the screws around the LB, again, under magnification, there's an almost pitted or frosted feel to the surrounding metal. This is not visible without magnification (at least to me)

It's very hard to find good magnifications of the absolute legitimate LB's to see hallmarks.

Any suggestions appreciated!

I have an appointment to have one polished next week.
Seems the only way to really know.

Yes, totally agree, the only way to really know is by going to Cartier. Just fyi, many members here are reluctant to provide specifics and details that could be used for authentication purposes of bags, jewelry etc, because then counterfeiters could read that info on this public forum and use it to make “better” fakes. I’m sure you understand. Good luck and in case you are interested there is a section here on tPF dedicated to Cartier: https://forum.purseblog.com/forums/cartier.301/
