Edie and Edie 31 comparison

How different are older Edie Bags (33547) to Edie 31 (36464)? Also how do they compare to regular Phoebe?
I do own regular Phoebe in chestnut and the leather is buttery soft. How is the leather in structure, softness and color in Edie or Edie 31?

I have a regular sized Phoebe and a regular sized Edie. If you like I can snap a picture of them together.

Edie is more structured....due to the leather. It's more stuff and I'd say more durable. But I love the buttery leather on the Phoebe.

Thank you, I love how soft phoebe is as well. But I also like Edie style. Does the leather on Edie softens wit the time?
Not sure if I should get Edie if I own phoebe.

I still have 2 Phoebes and have 5 Edies. I've come to like the Edie better because the leather holds up better. It does seem to get softer in time, but not as soft as the Phoebe. It's pebbled and a bit sturdier. The 31 is a bit smaller, and I don't have one of those. I'll try to do a side by side of Phoebe and Edie later today.
