EDIE 42 Does Anyone Have Experience With The Suede Getting "Grungy"?

I have the mineral with star rivets. I use it a lot as a "mom bag" filled with diapers, wipes, snacks etc so it's been through a lot but still looks perfect. I'm eyeing the new black one with fringe and tassels but not sure if the fringe is just too much on that particular style.

Thank you for your reply.
I remember seeing your Edie 42. She is gorgeous.
Your reply is a big help. I'm trying to decide between the plain black or the Oxblood with Rivets.
My concern with the rivets is that it might date the bag when rivets go out of style

I think the oxblood rivets is subtle enough that it won't go out of style.

I think some people are just too hard on their bags. I have a friend that will plop a $2000 bag on the snow/salt covered car floors without a care in the world. Any bag she buys looks like garbage within a month.

That is so true.
I am anal compulsive with any bag.
My SA is holding the black 42.
I'm going to ask if she can get the Oxblood so that I can see her in person.
You have been very helpful to me.
Thank you very much :flowers:

I have an Edie 42 in black pebbled/suede leather, and it still looks great. I use it for travel because of its size, and it wears well. Now I don't carry it in snow or heavy rain, so I take care of it too. To me, it's a great bag, and I plan to buy the 42 in evergreen.

Thank you!
I am considering this bag with travel in mind.
My tablet looks lost in the pocket. It seems to hold a phenomenal amount.
I would definitely take good care of it too.
Do you use any pre-treatment on the suede?
Thank you for your reply

I'm fairly certain that I used Apple on it. I also have Ugg spray although I don't own Uggs. I heard this was good for suede. I'm also a little careful about getting it wet because I love the bag. Sometimes I use a crossgrain bag in bad weather or an MZ Wallace bag. Yes, it's a big bag but not as heavy as the Rogue. I have both.

I have the Ugg spray for my suede boots (BearClaw boots which look like Ugg). It works on the boots. I will be very careful with this bag but while traveling you never know what weather you will incur. Thank you for your reply.
