Edge paint okay on white?

I am thinking of buying my first Gucci bag. I love everything about the beige and white GG emblem mini bucket bag - except the black edging. Do you think it looks unfinished? Is it a sign of poor quality? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

No, I don’t think it looks poorly.I have a white Loewe bag that also has dark edge like this.

I have a Givenchy Mystic with that type of dark unfinished edges. As a matter of fact, the underside of the straps are like that. I thought I bought a fake at first but saw that they all are like that. I thought it was odd to leave that part unfinished. I can see where that would bother you on this Gucci bag.

I think it looks okay on the white bag, with the black and white vibe. I don't like it on the green bag, however. Black and pastels don't work well together IMO.

Dark edging on white isn’t an issue (it only becomes risky since it needs to be done very carefully)

You have all helped me. Thank you. I went back to the store and was shown the Diana bag. I like it much better but now I worry about durability, and marking it up. White bag a bad idea? Tips for keeping it nice? I know to avoid dark denim. How would you clean it? Thank you all.

Gucci's white is nearly always nearly 'white'. It ages much better than pure white.

White's great because it's a bright and it's a neutral. My white Gucci is a Flora pattern and stamped leather. I would ask at Gucci.
