Ebay - shipping question

Hi Everyone - I have sold mid 300 dollar range purchase on Ebay and the box weighs a lot -- it seems UPS is my best option to ship. Should I request signature on delivery with this service to satisfy Ebay protection? It's an extra charge but may be worth it. Would love some feedback on this-- thank you!

I would ALWAYS require a signature, especially when dealing with someone you don't know.

Yes, it will reduce your net earnings but will be more than worth it for the peace of mind that you gain.

Ebay only requires signature for transactions $750+. As a buyer if it wasn't disclosed in the listing that signature was required I would be less than happy having to rearrange my schedule to be home to sign for a package. I've signed up for UPS signature release so the driver doesn't even have to get my signature, he just delivers as usual, but not sure how many other buyers have opted into this feature. I would check with your buyer first before inconveniencing them.
