ebay ending

Hi,

I'm new to ebay and I was watching a chanel handbag. The seller had the auction ending next week. Looks like she receive a bid and closed the auction. Is this typical?

well some sellers including myself list at the price they would take as a start bid. if they get a bid may just end early to sell it quicker. i have also had some raise the start bid to a "buy now" price and place a bis and then end it early. it just depends on the seller. if they dont sell much they may want to get it sold quicker.

the price may have been what the seller wanted and decided to end the auction or

perhaps sold it off ebay to that bidder

Was there a Buy It Now offer available?

Lots of sellers list their items on multiple sites, so perhaps it was purchased on Bonanzle or some such.

You should wait for the last moment of the auction. So that you can get a good price.

There could be a million reasons why she ended the auction. She most likely sold it, but she also may have changed her mind and cancelled the bids. Who knows for sure. You can cancel your auctions up to 12 hours of the auction ending (for any reason).
