Hi ladies,

Have been cruising in here a fair bit lately and am loving reading about everyone's new purchases, long-term lusts and old favourites. :D

I thought it might be fun to list what our particular preferences are in jewellery. I mean, we all like jewellery and we're not about to discriminate, obviously - if a piece of jewellery is drool-worthy, we're going to drool regardless of whether it's a watch or a pendant, right? :p

But I'm sure we all have a particular tendency to go to a certain tray or display case of pieces in a jewellery salon. I'll start (there's no shame in admitting it :p): My name is Bitten and I'm an earring-aholic! I love earrings, I have more earrings than any other type of jewellery and I'm always on the lookout for more. I'd love to break the habit and get a necklace or a pendant (*VCA, I am heading to you when in Paris later this year). But somehow I always come back to earrings...

So come on lovelies, confess: what pieces are your particular weakness?

I have a real weakness for bracelets & have Tiffany silver balls, Pandora, Hermes click clack & Links of London Sweetie. The trouble is that I hardly wear them, only when going out. I'm thinking of getting more into costume jewellery necklaces as I'm always admiring them on other people.

I have a ridiculous collection of earrings. I also have a weak spot for watches, only have around 4 at the moment. I don't quite have the funds to increase my watch collection untl I graduate from uni and start work full time.... which will be this year :yahoo:

Rings! i wear one on almost every finger and have been this way my whole life. i usually have a set of about 6 or 8 rings that i wear daily (when i lose one, it eventually gets replaced, but it takes me a long time to choose). the good thing is that i don't tend to collect more than i will wear on a daily basis- otherwise i'd be broke!

My name is Vintage, and I am an earringaholic. It has been 2 days since I have last purchased a pair of earrings.
I change my earrings every day to every three days. As much as I adore watches (esp. mechanical movements!) and as facinated as I am by necklaces (so many pretty ones) my weakness is earrings.
Costume, fine, funky, extravagent or ruthlessly elegant - I find a home for them all. There will always be a place in my ears for a brilliant pair of earrings.

Rings on the other hand... I feel like those just get in my way most of the time.

I love all jewelry - no doubt about it. But the odd thing is that as much as I love jewelry, I'm lazy and like to wear the same thing for quite a bit of time until something really takes my fancy and then I figure out how to get it and wear that til I feel like something else. I do love earrings but wear the same ones most everyday. I will wear a pendant many days in a row until I get tired of looking at it. I will switch out my right hand ring every few days. I LOVE watches but again, tend to stick to one until I feel the need to switch out. No bracelets on a daily basis. I think my behavior is odd for someone who loves all jewelry so much (only fine though - no costume/too expensive, rather save money and put into the real deal).

Rings, Rings and more rings. There is always one more ring I want. I like my bracelets, watches and earrings but I LOVE my rings. Been that way since I was a child and played dress up and raided my mother's jewelry box:D

Mine is earrings & bracelets!... I have a lot of pendants, but for some reason, I just donot wear them consistanly. I like rings, only if they are really big & bold..
