My DH just told me I can get diamond leverbacks for Mother's Day
I dont know much about leverbacks but I have wanted a pair since seeing
SJP.

Can any one take a guess at the carat weigt of these and the setting?
Could these be bezel set?

I would say they're a minimum of 2 carats each earring, for a total of 4 ctw. No, they aren't bezel set--bezel-set earrings have a strip of metal running around the outside of the stone that holds it in place (instead of prongs). There are definitely prongs visible on the earrings--it's a bit hard to tell how many there are. You could go with bezels instead, though, and it would make the stones appear larger.

Very pretty choice, and so sweet of your DH! :D

They're bigger than 2ct each year. My earrings are 2ct each ear and they're not as big as the ones SJP are wearing. My guess is she's wearing above 4ct per ear.

^^I agree. I have 4 ct twt studs and she is definitely wearing larger. Such a pretty look. Sandra Bullock has a pair from Neil Lane that are TDF! I would love to see them in person. You may need to have your jeweler tweak the wires though depending on how low from the bottom of the ear lobe you want them to hang. Standard leverbacks can drop low and actually give you a different look plus with the jump ring, etc. attached to the stud.....just something to think about.

It is very possible that they are larger, however, SJP is very petite & her earlobes are small. That could make the earrings look larger than they would on someone with a bigger frame & earlobes.

LOOKINGGOOD35, I am not sure where in ATL you are, but I am an Atlanta native & there are several great jewelry stores that you might be able to try out some similar earrings to get that look. Mendikow Jewelers in Phipps Plaza carries a lot of higher-end & larger carat weight pieces; if you are nearby, that might be a good place to start your search. Best of luck to you!

4 ct per ear is huge! Congrats!

Check out the auctions at Sothebys & Christies. That way you aren't paying a jewelry store markup. And you are guaranteed they are auction worthy if your DH says you can get bigger ones in a few years.

If I was Bullock, I'd be wearing those earrings anyway. Screeew him.

There is a Christies Hong Kong jewellery auction coming soon on 1 June. I've see some really stunning earrings on the catalogue. There's also an e-catalogue online. Maybe you could check it out. 4ct per ear would make me a deliriously happy girl. Good luck!
