Early Birthday Surprise After Surprise! (Lunch w/LV & Aftermath Haul Reveal!)

I included my new DE Bandouliere Speedy 30 I exchanged mine with cracked canvas for yesterday as well as the new Poppy Estrela for those who didn't see. I'm starting to get into crossbody bags! Also here's the Sarah Retiro in Poppy. I can't get enough of this happy colour. I recently sold a few bags I wasn't carrying, and also had some store credit, so these ended up not costing me much

What's your IG Hun? [emoji8]

Next we have the Venus. As soon as I saw her in person I was sold. Secret magnetic pockets, the gorgeous lock, black trim instead of natural leather, the multiple compartments and shoulder strap, plus feet... What's not to love? Honestly I thought the $2400 price point was surprisingly reasonable for such a versatile bag and i think it's so classy!

I tried the Alma Bag in a Bag (B'N'B) on at the store and it was just so COOL! The manager told me they've released a limited number as a test run and if they sell, they'll go into the permanent collection but if not, they won't produce anymore. I didn't want to take the chance of missing out, as my boutique only got one red and one black. The red was stunning, but I have very few LV bags I can wear with a black suit or black outfit of any kind, because I always feel weird carrying a brown bag when I'm wearing black, so I chose the Noir in this fun girl as well!

I love how it is so unique. I've never seen another bag like it. It has the outer canvas panels and then inside there is a leather zip dome shaped bag! Between the outer canvas and inner bag there is a space on either side, pockets that serve to slip in just about anything that is flat... receipts, cards or a card holder, bills, even a slim wallet. I carried her home and tucked my mail from my mailbox into one side! The clochette has a clasp hidden inside it. I haven't quite figured out what that's for yet. The leather is pebbled but not delicate feeling or easily scratchable... very sturdy. I think this bag will last a very long time. I love how there is no piping, but it has no feet which i think it should. The lining of both the canvas outer and pebbled leather inner bag is Alcantara.

The zipper compartment runs the length of the inner dome shaped "bag in the bag" and has another medium sized patch pocket inside. It comes with a shoulder strap, and wearing it crossbody takes it from an elegant hand or crook of the arm bag to a fun and almost sporty piece. It's the only bag I've seen that manages to be sporty and yet truly elegant and unique, by just adding or removing the shoulder strap! Such a fun and very versatile bag at a very reasonable price point IMO, $2200 and change.

Whew sorry for the length but wanted to describe it as best I could!

Oh, a pic of the clasp hidden in the key bell. I'm just wondering what its purpose is and why they didn't do a lock, but i adore clochettes! I'll use it on my Macassar Deauville for sure!

I wish i had grabbed pics of the Denim Twist, but once mom gets back home I will have her shoot some off. It saved several hundred in sales tax to ship, as she lives in a non LV state, so she used the savings and grabbed me the fuchsia multicartes, which I desperately needed for all of the business cards I carry and accumulate. I was really torn between it, the fuchsia Sarah Multicartes and the denim card holder but this one ended up winning out. I love fuchsia, and the zipper is great instead of the snap which always seems to wear on me. I've used my noir MC/grenade for years but it's beginning to color Chip so she's being reserved for when I carry all of my noir Multicolore.

And finally, rather than wait til summer and possibly miss the denim Neverfull as the denim collection is seasonal they believe, i decided to go ahead and get her for myself. I wear tons of denim or white shorts in the summer and plenty of blue and white Polo shirts, plus here in SWFL summer is our rainy season, so this is just ideal for me to add to my Neverfull collection! I love the black trim/interior and the heat stamp being black instead of blue. It really makes the accents and palladium hardware pop!

Also pictured is the new colour in the St. Germain. I want one! It makes the bag more casual IMO.

One more shot of the bandouliere with the Damier (paillettes?) gorgeous blue sequin wallet I managed to find preloved in like new condition for $450 from a friend in Miami this past week and has been my grail wallet forever. She was scared to carry it because she worried she would lose the sequins, but it seems very durable. I adore this wallet and it's so tough to choose between it and the poppy Sarah Retiro! With these and the new anthracite zippy my best friend is sending me for my birthday, I'm basically forever wallet content and was planning on selling my noir epi zippy, but with these new black bags, I'm thinking maybe I should keep it and use it! However my now-depleted bag fund says I need to let some more things go!

How do you all get yourselves to change wallets?! I'm terrible about it and always want to but manage to forget or never find the time!

Anywhoo enough rambling. thank you all once again for allowing me to share another of my mother daughter shopping trips! We limit them to two per year and between them we save all of our spare pennies and sell bags we don't use often so we can enjoy new ones! I'm proud we are both adhering to the one in, one out rule! It's much easier on our wallets, and on my dad's mental state and blood pressure :lolots: I'll post some pics of some of the new styles and colours we saw tomorrow if you all want to see! The Epi hot pink and blueberry are AMAZING.

Thank you  your items are stunning and such a great description! So helpful! [emoji8]

I'm so glad I can be helpful!

I'm very excited about the instagram. It means I'll probably be on here less, or just lurk, as I do much of the time for the eye candy... but i like how there is an element of anonymity on IG and i don't have to feel ashamed for my splurges there :shame: I always worry that people are going to view my sharing in a negative way, you know? It happens.

It's really nice being able to share my joy, i just love my bags so much and I don't have family beyond my parents, or kids, so my hobbies are what I've got when I'm not working and I love it if I can help people who share the LVoe!

Congrats on your beautiful haul and happy birthday!

As for wallet changing, I make it part of my routine every Sunday evening when I review my agenda for the week, I also change my wallet. I sometimes change it on Fridays nights and midweek but Sundays are a must. Because I change wallets often, I am very swift about it, taking approximately 2-3 minutes.

Enjoy all your new beauties!
