Dye-project: Suede PS1 medium

I bought this beautiful PS1 medium, but it’s very stained and alot of colour has rubbed off om the suede leather.

So I’ve decided to dye it! I have dyed countless Balenciaga leather handbags, so it’s my first time trying suede.

Firsts up: what colour? It need to be darker than the original colour. So I’m thinking black, navy blue or burgundy? What do you think will look good?

Have any of you dyed suede leather before? Tricks and tips are welcome!

Thought about it too, but I think I will get tired of it. I think I’m gonna choose a darker red. I have always dreamed of a rich red bag and silver hardware

Yes of course. I’ve bought a red dye and a black. The bag is a bit orange-ish, so I’ve chosen a more red colour. Hopefully it will look good and by colouring the bag a colour that’s close to the original colour, I hope I dont have to colour the stitches.

I bought the black dye because I’m gonna go with black if the red doesn’t work.

Decided to dye the bag black because the red didn’t cover the patina at all. I’m using Angulus Suede Dye and the cotton ball applicator that came with the dye.

I ran out of dye, so I need to get more, before I can continue.
