I initially wanted blue topaz as it is my DD's birthstone. But then online I've seen the white agate and it looks nice as well. When I went to a jeweler I've tried on the pearl and now I can't make up my mind. I want a ring and matching bracelet. Help me choose. Thanks.

No it is not for everyday wear. I am a SAHM and am mostly home. The only time I would wear it would be out to dinner, church, and friendly gatherings. I know pearl is fragile and I would never get it wet etc. I really cant decide

I love white agate. It is such a clean and classy stone. And, the white agate would go with everything. But, I also love DY's blue topaz. It's a gorgeous pop of color. Just depends on what you're looking for.

I am thinking about getting a petite albion or 11mm albion ring. I have not tried the 11mm yet.

And here are the pics of the pearl rings I saw online that I like.

I love blue topaz but find that I cannot wear it daily as it does not go with all of my wardrobe. I love the white agate...I almost got that instead of the turquoise in my latest bracelet...I only decided against it because I wanted a bracelet with a pop of color and not necessarily to wear everyday.

Is gemstone better than stone? I love turquoise as well. I want to start off
with a ring and bracelet set first and then add on more bracelets eventually. The reason y I was considering pearl is bc when I went to try on the bracelet I found the 5mm bracelet with diamonds at $525 price to be too small. They had a pearl one with slightly larger endcaps for $890 that was still 5mm that I thought looked better on my wrist but they did not have it in any other gemstone color for me to try on. That's when I fell in love with the pearl. I am pretty sure if they had a blue topaz that I wouldn't have considered it. I only want one ring and a few bracelets. Thats where I am stuck. Pearl I can get more wear and also with white agate. But I just love the color of blue topaz. If I get the pearl or blue topaz, I am not sure what other color of bracelet I can stack with. If I get white agate I plan on purchasing the black onyx and turquoise to wear them stacked. Is DY even worth collecting a few pieces? After all it is sterling silver. I am just afraid
of the maintenance.

If you end up going with the pearl, please be careful with it. Pearls usually stick up so far off the hand and are so delicate, that it's more likely to get damaged.

OP- To answer your latest question- I find David Yurman to be "worth" it. I love his pieces and have had not issues with mine. I have about 3 rings, 5 or so bracelets and 2 necklaces. I currently am stacking a turquoise bracelet with the 2 different smokey topaz bracelets and I love the look of it all.

I went to the mall yesterday to see the blue topaz ring again and see if they had the agate. No luck with agate and I wasn't 100% excited about blue topaz. I like the cross over ring and ended up getting two bangles. The shiny out and cable out bangle. I will go back to purchase another bangle and the crossover ring. I am taking a road trip with hubby on sunday to go to another mall that is 2hrs away and will take a look at their DY inventory. Maybe they will have more items to compare
