Funny story: I took her out yesterday to run some errands, and as I was walking out of Home Depot, a guy actually did a double take on my bag and couldn't take his eyes off of it for a few seconds as he drove past me 
(And it's not surprising to see women with designer bags at this Home Depot, either... I've seen plenty of Prada and LV there!)
