Dust bags? White? Green? Brown?

I’ve seen 3 different color dust bags (white, green, brown). On unboxing videos I mostly see white with the green writing. Older bags I’ve seen with brown. And I’ve also seen the bright green ones too but was wondering if those are fake bc I mostly see those on resell sites? Do the various colors mean anything (kinda like white Chanel dust bags are sold with CFs)? Is green fake? This is mostly an I’m curious question!

My BV footwear came in with green dust bags in a green box. Bought the pair in Galeries Lafayette in Paris last year.

I bought a cassette belt bag online (directly from BV.com) and it came in the white dust bag, and just bought a Solstice (bigger hobo style bag) in person in a BV boutique and was given the green dust bag. I’m sure they just rotate/carry all 3!

As far as I understand it the brown dust bags were pre-Daniel Lee but they were still knocking around even after he took over as I got one of the early mini Jodie’s in a brown box and dust bag. But then they refreshed the branding with the Bottega white/green ones.

Yes, the brown dust bags were Tomas Maier era, but some of my Daniel Lee era bags came with the brown dust bags (even from the BV boutique). The white dust bags with green lettering were Daniel Lee era. I purchased a Cassette late last year from BV, and it came with this older dust bag. I think the green dust bags with black lettering were introduced late 2021, around the time Matthieu Blazy was announced as the new CD. My teen Jodie came with the green dust bag.

yes, the first generation of the pouch bag and mini pouch came with the brown dustbags

Thanks all! A bit of a weird fixation but I was in the market for a mini pouch in parakeet and really wanted the dust bag to match. haha. I ended up placing the order and requesting a green one over the phone. She came yesterday and I'm and matching purse/dust bag heaven

I just ordered my mini cassette but it came with white instead of green? Does this mean that they produce two dustbags and just randomly give them to customer in either white or green?

I had the same question, my preowned bottega Arco came in a white dust bag, and then I bought a BV shoulder pouch bag and that came in a brown dust bag.
