This is my favorite leather. It is extremely light, very soft and slouchy, and the color goes with everything. I adore it.
I agree with everything TG & Contessa said. It's very light. At first I thought it felt a little thick and stiff, but as BE leathers go it's getting to the point that I absolutely love. Light and the leather is extremely soft. I love bags that kinda mold to my body and I hardly notice them while carrying, and I find this leather does that.
There are the little marks in the leather and lightening of the leather on the corners that makes it look like your favorite, carried forever look which I love. I've used it everyday and it just gets more beautiful. I'm guessing it's similar to the matte gray leather that everyone raves about.

I love my taupe. It's such a versatile color like TG mentioned.
As for how it wears - I'd say it's similiar to any of the BE matte's. IMO it's more durable then a sheen leather.
I would try it!
