For those of you who own the lurex Zoe or any other lurex bags, how have you found the fabric quality to be? I'm a bit concerned and therefore haven't started using my bag yet because the linen fabric is a bit more delicate and I'm wondering how it holds up. Does the fabric pill or fuzz after repeated usage, ie. the side of the bag that rubs against clothing? How have you dealt with stains and cleaning it?

I think the fabric is heavier a bit. What i mean by that is I have a Rosegold OP ART Riley bag and its pretty firm.. Now i always have 13441 in silver/gray and its lighter in material Im guessing that puprle bag will wear out first.

I've been using mine non stop for over a week so far. No problems at all. Its treated to be water and stain resistant But I am still careful as I am with any of my bags.

Your pics of the large gold lurex Zoe were what started my obsession with that bag :graucho:

She's so pretty but I'm almost scared to use her... I'd be devastated if she started fuzzing up like polyester does when there's friction :shrugs:

You know I never even gave that a consideration when I bought the bag. I fell in love with it cause I saw it on someone at my kids swim lessons and thought I MUST have that bag. LOL The slouch, the size, the weight, everything about it is perfect!

I was trying to link you to an older thread where people commented on the Lurex fabric's durability but I can't find it :girlsigh: Although they weren't speaking specifically about Zoe's Lurex material, most of the people in that thread said Lurex is actually much more durable than what most people think :D After that thread, I started looking for a Lurex purse on the bay and hoping to get it for work considering I do not want a bag that's not made of durable material  Hopefully Lurex Zoe is as durable as the other Lurex Coach purses

I have the signature stripe studded lurex tote and wristlet. I've had both since this past dec and used both a bit, haven't had any issues so far, but i don't use it as a everyday bag or everyday wristlet either, i only carry it every so often.

I really wanted this bag, but the SA's talked me out of it, saying that this is a lot more fragile than the regular sig fabric. I ended up with the silver/khaki one instead, bkz I believed them, even tho I wanted the gold lurex sooo bad... now I'm wondering why I would ever believe a SA before asking on tpf?! :graucho: oh well... to me the lurex seems pretty strurdy and i was suprised to hear its "more fragile" than the regular sig. It sure looks cute.

I have the Bonnie Lurex Satchel & I LOVE it!! I have been using it for about 2 weeks & have had no issues. I imagine if you are rough on your bag then eventually you will have problems however , like daniellesmommy, I am careful with all my bags regardless of what they are made of. I wouldn't be leery of the Lurex. It it a GREAT fabric!

And as said it is a heavier fabric than the signature one. I would not worry too much about it.

I don't have the lurex Zoe, but I've had many the lurex bag, wristlet, mini, cosmetci case and capacity wristlet. They ALL wear like iron!!! Just keep an eye on it until you get your confidence with it!!!

The bags have already been treated for stain resistance, or so the information says anyway. I would leave it alone and just use it and enjoy it.

Oh, and actually the linen should be stronger, rather than more delicate, at least most linen is.
