Dupes of designer sunglasses

How do you feel about dupes of designer sunglasses?

not the cheap ones from Amazon but sunglasses from respected brands that look a lot like designer pairs ?

im asking this because I’m on the hunt to find my perfect YSl Mica sunnies dupes, you know the sunglasses Heart Evangelista made viral at Paris Fashion week. But can’t find something I love.
I’ve been thinking I’m silly looking for that when I sort of have it with my RayBan wayferer. They aren’t identical but do give the YSL rockglam vibe in general


so what do you guys think ?
should I stop looking for almost the exact same pair since sunglasses dupes just don’t work. You either get the original or something else.?
long Time ago I was obsessed with the Tom Ford Whitney‘s I was looking and looking for dupes but non satisfied me. I got the real ones three years latter I just got tired of them don’t want the same mistake with the Micas. Getting the Ogs is not an option. its either keeping hunting for my dupes or just forget about them.

im totally in favor of dupes especially handbags but when it comes to sunnies I’ve had not good experiences looking for the right dupes. maybe Sunnies are a whole different beast from handbags.

Any time in my life I bought something cheaper when I really wanted something else I was not satisfied. Not a fan of total dupes. I don’t think you’ll be satisfied.

In cases like this, I ALWAYS ended up with both items (Perfume, bags, shoes...) after the cheaper one just was not the thing.
No money saved, but more spent. Bravo to me!

I guess I’ll wait and save then to get the YSL.

now I want to make clear I didn’t mean the dupes that you buy online in sites like DHgate and stuff like that, i meant getting a pair from let’s say Quay or Massimo Dutti that looks
like the YSL.

but still saving up is better.

with bags I disagree with the dup naysayers Or hatters of similar alternatives since it’s much harder to afford a designer bag But yeah perfumes and sunnies get the real ones period or get something else.

with bags Im totally into buying a Kate spade that looks like the classic Chanel or teddy blake that looks like the Hermes Kelly.
