Usuallly dupes are looking for a cheaper alternative to an expensive product - but I kind of have the opposite problem!

I bought the elf Warm Bronzer - the colours are so beautiful and it only costs $3!

My problem is - I'm in love with the colours - BUT - they are just not as pigmented as I would like them to be. Luckily - they don't appear chalky on my face - but I have to apply layer over layer to get any colour pay-off.

So - I was wondering if anybody here could recommend a similar product (could be more expensive) - which is more pigmented.

I love how this set has 4 colours - 2 bronzes, 1 highlight and a beautiful pinkish blush. And it has just the right amount of subtle shimmer.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I know what you mean about this ELF bronzer. IMO it is really powdery and it makes me look kinda dirty. I like certain ELF products and the prices make their products appealing but the blushes and bronzers are not their strong point with color payoff.

Cargo makes a great bronzer, lots more expensive (10xs ELF) but they are pretty good:

Another is youngblood which runs around the same price range as Cargo:

Also, take a look around the drugstore. I'm sure there are good drugstore brands that don't cost as much as these bronzers that are just as good!

Powdery is the perfect word to describe the ELF bronzer - so much powder, such little colour LOL!

I'll have to check the Cargo ones out - the 4 colour strips of blush and bronzer sound very promising! Thanks for the link!

I think Benefit has made a similar shade of product - BUT - Benefit blushes and powders show up as chalky on my NC35 skin

I have the Elf warm bronzer as well and know what you mean! I like it but....eh. I recently got a sample of Too Faced Sun Bunny Caribbean in a Compact and really like it. Not too shimmery and not too dark. It contains a lighter shade and a darker shade.
I think I'm going to have to buy it!

Hm, maybe try one of the Smashbox shades? They have a few blushers that have a pinwheel design but have a wide variety of colors. Maybe one of those would work?
