I'm on a trip back home to Australia and my stepmom showed me a dunhill attaché/briefcase that came into her possession recently. I’ve not been able to find much through my attempted research, and was curious if anyone could provide any kind of information. I think it’s calf leather and lined with suede. I’m not at all familiar with the brand but am interested in learning what I can.

Dunhill started out as a company that made items for smokers. Their cigarette lighters are well known. Then they branched out into menswear: clothing, accessories, leather goods. It is considered a high-end brand. They have a website, and I’m sure a Google search would also yield more info.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate the advice. I was hoping someone may know something specifically about the case that I pictured. I believe it may be from the late 90’s and could have been something that was gifted for purchasing another dunhill item. Not 100% sure.

Hmmm...Seems like higher quality than usual gift-with-purchase items, at least the ones I get with cosmetics purchases. As the company is active, perhaps a request to their customer service dept through the website might yield precise info.

No, never have purchased Dunhill. It is a masculine brand, and many items are targeted to smokers: not me in either case. But it is a company that makes high-end, quality goods.
