This bag is from Emma Charles, a UK-based contemporary brand. I'm in love with this bag. I love that it looks like a fortune cookie/dumpling. I've tried contacting the brand multiple times about purchasing, but they're not responsive. :crybaby: Any thoughts on the bag (pictures from their instagram)?

I've really been liking this handbag trend. Gabriela Hearst's bags are also reminiscent of this shape. Does anyone else know of any alternatives, hopefully a bit easier to obtain than the Emma Charles and the Gabriela Hearst? Here's one from Lulu Guinness:

If I were throwing money at a company that didn't want it, I'd look elsewhere. >_> Or hold out only if you really wanted their version of the design. The Lulu Guinness one is beautiful though!

How about this Nina Ricci? Doesn't have the ring shape handles though

I agree! I know they're a small, relatively new brand, but I've worked for small businesses before and customer service is like the number one priority! I don't know why they wouldn't answer such a strong interest in their bag! :whut:

I have a bag similar to this that I bought about ten years ago from Kenneth Cole. Unfortunately, I can't upload a picture as I give it to a relative.

Some more dumpling-ish bags I've spotted! The Cindy by The Volon, a contemporary Korean bag brand. I think this is coming out SS18!

Another little folding bag by British designer Eudon Choi, called the Bays. It's currently available for purchase! This is called the mini version, but I couldn't spot a clear picture of their bigger size, if it does exist!
