i know the name doesn't sound great, but this is quick & easy and so tasty! It gets it's name b/c you dump all the ingredients in the pan.
All you need is:
one 20 oz can crushed pineapple (don't drain it!)
one can of cherry pie filling
one box of yellow cake mix
12 tablespoons (1.5 sticks) of butter
1. melt all of the butter
2. in a glass casserole pan, pour the can of crushed pineapple and spread it out on the bottom of the pan.
3. next, put the cherry pie filling on top of the pineapple.
4. spread the dry cake mix on top of the two layers of fruit.
5. finally, pour the melted butter over the dry cake mix.
Bake at 350 for about 50-60 minutes (until cake topping is brown). Let it cool for 15 or so minutes. Then, scoop it into bowls and top with vanilla ice cream.

OMG!!!!!!!!! This is one of my FAVORITE desserts!!!! It's true....It's SO easy to make...I make it every year as one of my desserts for Thanksgiving..I like to keep the leftovers in the fridge in an airtight container..Keeps for a long time and it's great for late snacks at the computer!!! The best part is when you get a big crispy chunk of the topping!! OOOH!! Buttery good!!!!
