dslr uses?!

I usually carry my dslr in an actual camera bag and then I have my other stuff in whichever bag I'm using that day, I'd feel nervous about keeping my camera in a big bag together with my water bottle... Sometimes if I have to, I'll throw it in my LC Le Pliage, wrapped in a scarf. I don't know your budget, but that bag works for me at least.

You could also check if your camera bag has a removable insert? That way your camera would be better protected in whichever bag you put it in.

Sorry for being nosy, but do you have a beauty channel on YouTube? Your avatar looks just like one of my favorite beauty experts... :smile1:

My camera bag is pretty small, doesn't have an insert because it only holds the camera itself and a small extra lens (which I never really use anyway), if I wanted to I could probably put the whole thing in a larger bag with my other stuff too.

I don't have a YouTube channel, but now I'm curious about who I look like! My photo is just a passport style photo I had to get this summer. A beauty channel starring me would be hilarious though, since I'm terrible at putting on makeup properly. :p

I do that, too. My camera has two bags; an ugly-but-good Golla that will hide in my bigger bag and a pretty Kipling x StyleScrapbook that can hood both my dslr and a tiny Olympus Mju which I use whenever it's raining etc since it's waterproof.

Your doppelganger is called Veronica Gorgeois, she's a natural cosmetics junkie (just like me) and her videos are amazing - she rings the bell on false advertising, unhealthy ingredients and useless filler substances and also gives great tips for skincare and makeup.

It's a funny thing about makeup, I love it but am so lazy I've been doing things the same way for 10 yrs. Don't even mention baking or any other techniques - I'm so old school, to me putting on a little bit of bronzer below my cheekbones is ultra modern and so laborous I rarely do it.

Looked her up, her videos are great so far! And it's definitely flattering to be compared to her, she's gorgeous (I guess that's in her name, ha!), thanks!

And yeah I'm the same way... Except for a panda-eyes phase in my early teens I've kinda stuck with the same minimal makeup, I just hate the way tons of makeup feels on my face: A little bit of concealer for annoying blemishes, blush and mascara is pretty much it! I'm too pale for bronzer, wouldn't fool anyone :p

I never had a panda phase, TG! I'm extremely pale, my old flatmate was so overjoyed when she realized she wasn't the palest person in the world - I was even whiter...so my "bronzer" is very light as well, more like a soft, dark peach color than an actual bronzy brown. That works for me, especially in the summer when I want to look like I actually got a tan. Which I never get. Because I just burn. And look like a cooked shrimp. :lawl:

I don't try to put my cameras in a handbag - just carry them separate in a case aswith lenses they take up a LOT of room. For travel I put them in a Longchamp along with my Kelly or whatever handbag I am traveling with.

It is possible, I suppose. When I used DSLRs, I never ever carried them every day or in a non-camera bag. I switched to mirrorless micro four-thirds and I carry it every day in a regular bag. They are lighter, take up less space, and you are more likely to have it with you all the time if it's not a pain in the butt to carry.

I still use DSLRs when I'm exclusively for shooting, but not as everyday cameras.
